As we all know SegWit, the simplest and safest solution for capacity increase, which is due to be implemented next month unexpectedly caused fork on testnet:

Longer explanation: they updated sigop counting in segwit v3 that was incompatible with segwit v2. some people didn't update their v2 nodes and forked.
