Recently SDC got de-anon'd and it got me thinking:

SDC also produced a bitmessage clone branded ShadowChat which several other alts integrated.

I do not believe any peer reviews were carried out and I post this just as a reminder/warning to be careful.
It may sound like FUD but I genuinely hope nobody is communicating sensitive info over ShadowChat or its likes till it has been looked at more closely.

EDIT: To be clear there are a great many technologies in this space which have not been vetted, made by many different altcoin devs.
