Selling on social media site is like going to church to announce to the congregation that you are selling bible(s)

There is nothing wrong with the sale of bible in church since, everyone going to church will end-up buying one from you but, wrong introduction might to little or no sale on facebook.

I experimented this with a friend on one of the top freelance back in 2013-14

The customer is reaping the reward of the investement made back in 2014-14 today.
He email me couple of time to tell me as making incredible sales right on fanspage more than he is making on his website.

The link below are some of the snapshot which i've taken.

Marketing on social site like facebook can be challenging but at same time profitable ONLY if, you know what you are doing.

Some point to note when promoting on social media:

Don't promote directly to your audience. it will not work, i have tested this.
Every marketer is quick to insert link to landing page or website.

When highlighting the importance of your product(s) or services don't try to close or conclude sale on fb
Statement like, please visit our official website to order or place order.

I learnt this concept from Perry Marshall - would'nt it be great if, your customer's are requesting on how to place order rather than the other way round?

How about letting your customer's do the contact. Let them spend sometime to text or compose an email message to you indicating their interest for the purchase one or more of your product because it was recommended to them by a friend or colleague at work?

Expect More Of Such Tip's In My Upcoming Thread!

Sale something through FB costs a lot of money and you can not get them back. If people are clicking on the link nowadays, this do not mean that they are going to buy something. There are clickers from India, Indonesia etc, which do not spend even one satoshi to buy something.  Smiley

Hi HEROCAT, i aware of the fact  that there are clickfraud on social site(s) such as facebook but, you can also control of this if, you want to.

One of the little trick which i have experimented when runing sponsored ads on fb is setting-up hidden landing pages with give away offer's

I've talked about this within content of my description, Lock this pages, about three or four landing pages will do the magic.

Ofcourse, you need to collect details info i.e contact email, name, surname [option] on these landing pages before you can grant access to them to claim your free offer.

*Repeat same process above again by sending link to the second landing pages to them about an offer which might be of great benefit to them after they might have claim offer #1

Repeat the process again by sending another notification msg to them that you almost forget to include this link which you think might be of great benefit after they might have claimed offer #2.

NOTE : your gift should be sometime that is dependant on another. i suggest information product in pdf. The trick here is to filter out unserious fellow who are not the targetted prospect or are not interested in your offer's.

Those who are interested in your offer will end-up registrying with same email address and possibly with same name(real). This will help you to concentrate your marketing effort on the real guys and filter out automate sign-up which might end-up not making any purchase!

I hope this help,I will talk more about this strategy next time

Thank

UPDATE TIP'S #3   27.02.2016

GM spent  $40 million a year on Facebook sponsored ads without ROI!

In conclution they say - FB ads or sponsored ads on facebook does not work (or yield return on investment ROI)

Who is right here?

Facebook - a rapid growing network  with lot of visitor's per day or
General Motor.

According to GM marketing manager, they've implemented all  marketing strategies on this social site without tangible success.

I'll reveal to you in my next update one major mistake you need to avoid when marketing on facebook platform (sponsored ads)

$40 million per year is a high marketing budget!

Thanks
