anybody have any tips / tricks for me?

i rely on a few plugins that use MPK but only the older style version from electrum v 1.9.8

my workaround to date has been to simply install v1.9.8, create a few new wallets and then delete electrum app.

then i install latest electrum version and open the wallets and use the mpks, etc.

Is there an easier way i can accomplish getting fresh v.1.9.8-style wallets that u guys would suggest?  is docker a solution i would consider?  As i understand docker, its like a VirtualBox but lightweight so u could basically have a compartmentalized single app running as a docker package.

Or is there a command-line/portable style way i can launch v1.9.8 without having to do my whole uninstall of v2.6?

I also seem to recall a command line python app that would let u create an electrum-compatible seed with a simple command.  I cant remember the name tho. Anybody know of something like this?

Thanks!
