Micropayment / Donation collector service?

Hello,

i am looking for a micropayment service which allows me to collect funds from friends/family in one account who want to "chip in" for a specific purpose. (like sharing money for an specific purpose)

Well as I can´t (sadly) expect everyone to own bitcoins I can´t do this directly with my wallet adress, which would be more convient of course.

The payout method should include Bitcoins.
The micropayments/donations should be able to be received by all usual services like Paypal/SEPA/Creditcard etc.

For paypal you can use paypal.me linked to your paypal account.
The point is that if you don't use btc for micropayment you'll get taxed

So just to clarify, you want a way to be able to receive payments from ALL types of payment services like Paypal, credit card, Bank transfer AND Bitcoin... and you want to be able to collect all of these funds into one account... and you want all of these to happen automagically?

About the only thing I could think of would be an exchange type service that lets you deposit funds via Paypal or Credit card or whatever... however, storing money on exchanges is fraught with danger (see: Mt Gox, Cryptsy, Bitfinex etc)... also, I'm not sure that Paypal is a valid option, as I often see people complaining that Paypal like to freeze accounts that are linked to BTC.

Also, micropayments may be problematic... most providers that operate with fiat (ie. everything but Bitcoin) have transaction fees that will easily gobble up micropayments...

One possible workaround I thought of would be to provide one BTC adress and give instructions to people who want to fund it and dont own any BTC wallet, to go to a site who sells bitcoins buy some for the desired amount of fiat and pay them out to the given BTC adress.

But usually if something like this has more than 2 steps to accomplish, most of the people will simply not bother to do so. Usually a simple registration form is too much.

go to bitcoin.org and choose a wallet and create your very own bitcoin address and give it to others so they can send you their donations, to make things easy you can add a QR code along your bitcoin address so they can scan that QR code.

a less attractive solution is using reddit's bitcoin tipbot which is called "changetip" it also offers you a unique link (i think it is YourName.Tip.me) and people can go there and changetip guides them to tip you!
but then changetip can decide to block your account and your funds with it in they feel their TOS was not followed.

As far as I'm aware, the complete service you are wanting doesn't currently exist. Unless the person knows what they are doing, gifting BTC to someone else can be a bit of a hassle. Perhaps this is a business opportunity for you to explore?

I suspect most people would just use Paypal to collect the initial "donation" from friends and family as it is widely known, most people trust it and it is relatively easy to use. Then they can simply move the Paypal funds to BTCs themselves using whatever BTC purchasing service they like (localbitcoins, exchanges etc).

The advantage I see doing it this way, is that it is easier and, as you say, more likely for someone to gift money if the difficulty is lower... and because the money starts in fiat, you are able to actually purchase "Real World™" things before converting the rest to BTC.

Granted, it does require a little bit of manual work on your end (converting Paypal funds to BTC), but hey... you end up with "free" BTC right?? So, once a week/month having to go and source BTC is not THAT big of an issue right??

This would defeat the purpose of his request. He specifically said, it's for people who are not part of Bitcoin or do not want to deal directly with Bitcoin. He is looking for a automated method to do this,

where people use the old legacy fiat payment options and do not deal with Bitcoin. The BTM machines or Bitcoin vending machines should actually add such a option for people to transfer anything they

buy to a address you provide for charity and donations. Good idea.. btw.

Yea would be nice - but I am not as much experienced in "this scene" although I work in the IT. I have no in-depth knowledge about webdesign/programming/applications etc as the guys probably need to have who run this sites. - Even in this case I would need someone who write all this stuff and supervise it for security and stuff while I can implement my ideas.

The another part I am concerned of is the legal stuff. With bitcoins especially when fiat money is involved, things can go wrong pretty wrong even if they seemed to be the best idea. (In this thread were already mentioned a few examples like Mt Gox etc.)

I dont know the exact details and who did what and what not, but it wouldn´t be so pleasant if this happened to myself
