Show "All" comments on topic link is gone

the show "All" comments beside the topics number page links is gone, at least for some topic on the forum?
Why is this, can this explicitly be set when creating a new thread? Or is this a old/new revision of the forum site?

I'd guess it helps prevent DOS attacks by requesting a trillion items. Imagine one user making one request that pulls 40,000 posts and associated images from the database?

You can use "print" instead. Its not as pretty though.

This is not new, it's been that way for as long as I can remember.
