I have a PSU that says "fail" on in with a yellow light. I disconnect it from the power source and from the miner, and plug them back on and still says fail. There no way to fix this?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=40.0

your question belongs in mining support.  I asked the mods to move it.

you had a different thread and it was moved to mining support.  In that thread I asked what are your psu's

so once again what are your psu's

and while I am at it  do you have 120 volt power or 240 volt power?

Hello please i need help, a miner is not working the other ones are. The avalon 6 led light is blinking red, i disconnected the miner and connected again, it starts with a white flash light, then it goes blinking green for some time, then it turns off for a few seconds, then it follows a red blinking light.

The miner is not detected in the user interface.

what are your power supplies?  flashing red means power is high.

read my burnt thread.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1336377.0

and let me know what you use to power the gear.

This is a image capture of the screen cgminer

http://prntscr.com/a3aqbj

This is a image of the psu and miners

http://prntscr.com/a3atle

In the front of the PSU there's only 2 led displays. Fail which is a yellow light and green which is ok.  Is just stays in yellow.

and the shot of the psu's is pretty much worthless.

I see 10 avalon6's

I see 10 psu's

I see no lights on the avalon6's that are working they should be blue.

I see no lights on the psu's

I do not know what the psu is

I do not know if you use 120 volts
I do not know if you use 240 volts.
I do not know if you bridged the psu's you have.
I do not see power cords to the psu's
Finally while the gui you show has 7 units running
the image I see here looks like all the gear is turned off.

It simply means the PSU is bad. You need to contact who you bought it from and get a new one. I'm going to assume they are Bel Power Solutions PET1300-12-054NA PSUs and that they are used?! They are good PSUs, no doubt. But if you want them to continue to work and be power houses, I highly recommend you take off the top cover open up the plastic underneath and get a tank of compressed air and blow them out really, really good. Otherwise, they will just suffocate or dust will collect somewhere too much and create a contact and short out your PSU.

Edit: also you may want to check the contacts in the back and make sure none of them are bent.

The problem was the psu was touching the metal shelfs causing some kind electric problem. I put thick plastic underneath.

It is nice that you found a shorting issue. Happy mining
