How many confirmations before coin should show in wallet address ??

  I made a transaction from an exchange to my wallet ,, block explorer is showing the transaction as having 28 confirmations BUT my wallet shows nothing,,, not even that the transaction exists ....

how many confirmations before the coin should show in my wallet ??

You should definitely see it after one confirmation

which should help.

Obviously double check the address you've sent it to is the one in your wallet.
