I have done my Wire-Transfer to Btc-e since Feb 20, and my money haven't show up on the account till now.

Today, their support reply my post claim that the "BANK ACCOUNT CLOSED" and tell me my money must been refused.

I have no idea what is going on and all of you can check the BTC-E "USD Deposit", Wire-Tranfer is now GONE.

Anyways, I want my money bank!

You have so many US exchanges and you use the one based who knows where with unknown owners.

WHY?

For security, your account has been locked. Email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com

WHY?

Probably because users stay anonymous there too... at least it is very hard to get some informations out of that guys. Though without confirmed user details the infos are not much worth.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Be careful with BTC-E's wire deposit and withdrawal option, it's not the first time they have such issues. Especially their money processing company Mayzus seems suspicious, as they "lost" a payment made by one of my partners to their bank account in CZ. Roll Eyes

Did you deposit funds with a bank account?  When I used BTC-e, I transferred funds from a bitcoin address.  I think they are based in Bulgaria so I don't know how good their English is.  I would be careful with wire transfers.  You probably should not put a lot of money on the exchange either.

Its better to swallow the pride of not being a fool with cheap btc prices listed over there.

Similar incidents and horror stories with btc-e. So I`m not surprised if its a selective thing to keep their exchange running with mixed reputation.

It's not always cheaper, and when you throw in the cost of the transfer plus the sheer grind of it, it's a pretty strange choice for anyone. I never know what to make of the place, whether they very occasionally scam someone but keep enough of the rest happy or whether these are all genuine mistakes.

In fact as long as I know btc-e they had always higher prices than the other exchanges. Fees are higher too. The only reason many chose that exchange is because he has no regulation, so it is ideal for scammers that want to stay anonymous or for third world countries whose citicens otherwise can't use other exchanges.

You could probably go to bank and get the transaction reversed since you have time?  I doubt BTC-e would want to waste their time taking 1 persons money but it can be hard at times to get decent support from them.

You can not reverse a bank wire that you sent yourself and authorized it yourself. It was then in your responsibility to check if the recipient was correct and such things.

Of course he might try to claim an unauthorized transaction though I wonder if it would go through, if cops could get involved and if he would have other troubles with his bank account then.
