Yet, I cannot understand how this could be connected with account termination. As far as I understand, it cannot be totally terminated - you're a part of a database, and finding accounts there manually and deleting them can drive one mad.
You're correct. I don't think a Bitcointalk account can every be fully deleted, but if a user decides to delete all their posts, remove all information from their profile, and then change their email and password to something random, that's the closest they'll get to completely removing their account from the site. In fact, some users used to
offer a service dedicated to securely "deleting" Bitcointalk accounts.
