Hello fellow btc trader's, i about launching my first advertising campaign on twitter but, considering the fact they just started allowing sponsored ads from third-party (initially it was private) which i think it's a cool idea considering the amount of traffic on this social network.

I want to know if, anybody here has had previous experience when it comes to sponsoring ads twitter?
What is the conversion rate like?

Does this worth the time and investment?

Thanks for your honest contribution

You need a very good sales funnel or you have to build an email list before you start selling stuff.
Twitter traffic won`t convert if you just put a sales page and wait for sales.
Twitter ads works very well with contests, sweepstakes and giveaways....

not good, twitter has tons of bots, yes it is true, many people spend all their day posting from multiple accounts and creating "botnets" on twitter.

I think facebook is higher quality, they do bigger background checks to filter out bots.

But twitter is just a cesspool of bots tweeting to eachother, facebook has a strict businessplan to advertise to real humans otherwise they lose money, so its their best interest to keep only humans.

Twitter is useful for selling things if you have a fanbase established. I survive soley off of selling art and most of my followers will share it landing me new jobs with people. I'm very appreciative to have people willing to share my work or whatever else im posting, and its usually quite effective.

Buying ads on twitter isn't so much. Most people just ignore the promoted posts or close them. When i ran some a while ago not much happened, I think I got one more follower.

but yea, twitter is good -  but bitcoin wise probably not. There are thousands of bitcoin and finace bots that will just make oyur account seem like spam if thats all you are offering. The key is to interact with your community directly through twitter

I think the twitter wouldn't hurt. If you promoted yourself at sport technology events or like coaches for schools you could do well I bet
