Hello.  I've been trying for days to get my GPU to show in guiminer.  The only thing that shows is my CPU.
I've installed the AMD-APP-SDK 2.8.

My computer:
Dell desktop
Windows 7, 64-bit
4 GB Ram
Intel Core2 Duo CPU running at 3 MHz

I have downloaded more versions of CCC and SDK and OpenCL and Stream than I can count. Every time I launch guiminer it only shows the CPU. Before I tinkered with it, it used to say no opencl devices (and also used to pop up mentioning ati cards at launch of program).

According to Device Manager, the driver version is 8.56.1.16 which is dated 4/25/2009.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please tell me what other information I can post to help.

Also, have a nice day   Cheesy

Actually more I had one core mining at about 7 or 8 a couple years ago.  Boredom can lead to interesting experiments.  Now the P4 extreme is around 3.
