After a lot of thought and constant decrease value of USD and fiat ive decided to embark on a savings plan. Due to my nationality and country of residence Panama, I have very little options on how to buy bitcoins ie "paypal" and there are very few takers. Luckily ive earned their trust and on ocasion they are willing to sell me their bitcoins... Other options are too expensive when all fees are considered.

Since for my particular situation bitcoins are not really a liquid asset, Ive decided bitcoins would be a small monthly savings plan or what ever a set amount of USD would buy. Since i live in a USD economy it has to be whatever I can afford not to use...

So lets say ive followed along with my plan and have been saving. How would I make the fund use of such funds.
At the moment in my particular case bitcoins only serve to make ebay purchases or amazon proxy purchases.

I tell everyone about my experience with bitcoins and its benefits. But they all tell me (Panamanians) what good are bitcoins if they are not tradable for any bitcoin goods.

that all depends if these are short-term savings or long-term savings.

for long-term (say 5+ years), i have faith that spending them will get easier, from pretty much everywhere.
