You just need to download their wallet and unlock it for staking.
You'd earn a reward when you're staking.

I'm staking 3 coins right now - Billcoin, Radium & Warp.

Do you need a good rig for staking? Or only an internet connection?

Only internet.
The computer needs to run with wallet loaded and running. As simple as that.

How to unlock a wallet after downloading it for staking

You need to encrypt first.
Go to Settings> Encrypt Wallet.
Setup a password.

Then,
Go to Settings> Unlock Wallet.

Enter your password, make sure that "For staking only" is selected and click enter.

That's all you need to do.
