A police station in Russia’s Stavropol region has come under attack, according to news sources. Some reports say three suicide bombers were involved.
The police did not provide any details of the attack, and no casualty report was immediately available.

RIA Novosti cites a security source as saying that three suicide bombers used at least five explosive devices in the attack.

The attackers were killed by the blasts, according to RIA Novosti.

A similar report came from Interfax, who also said the three bombers were the only ones hurt in the attack.

Stavropol region is located in southern Russia, close to the turbulent Northern Caucasus.

@designerusa
If you perceive the world as a crazier place it surely is a scarier place. Perception is reality!

Does make you wonder why suddenly there is so much turmoil on the Russian Borders,think we are seeing a strategic move of sorts to throw things into discord. Syria,Iran and on to Russia,seems to be the game plan. Not sure where Iran is going to run into issues,should be interesting to see how the facts get stretched.

The Islamists might be disappointed. They lost three of their "warriors" and not a single one of the infidels got killed.  Grin

The Russian security apparatus has become efficient over the years, after learning from their mistakes during the 1990s. There is still a long way to go before eradicating terrorism in the North Caucasus, but the signs are looking good.

Seems to have been a pretty limp attempt. The Russians brushed it off easily. They´re obviously prepared, what with their whacking terrorists in Syria. There´ll be more attempts at retribution for that.

Russians are very experienced with terrorism (don't forget the Chechnya) so I think they know how to deal with it.

It seems like it was a game that only terrorists were died in attack. No photo of dead terrorists or damaged area. Only blood on wall

Most of the "experienced" terrorists are either dead, behind the bars, or fighting along with the ISIS in Syria. Those who remain in the North Caucasus region are mostly the inexperienced ones. Also, the local support for radical Islamism is waning, after Kremlin took efforts to reduce the inflow of Salafist/Wahhabi funds from Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Yes, it´s difficult to have any meaningful organization going unless you have some support among the population and the Russians are likely to have that covered. Unlike authorities in western Europe which seem to just love having this terrorist vermin organize under their noses. There´s even no-go zones to make sure that they can prepare in peace. Then the authorities act all surprised when they get attacked.

Western Europe is rapidly turning into a shit hole. A large number of European ISIS members are coming back to their home nations, after getting their asses kicked by the Russians in Syria. For the ISIS jihadis, now the European Union is more safe, at least when compared to Syria. Sweden is even planning to rehabilitate these barbarians.

Sweden has the crazy idea that they can hug the terrorists enough to stop hating us. What they should do is stop letting them into their beautiful country.

The Scandinavians have been behaving very strangely for the past few years. I am not sure whether this is a case of mass mental retardation, affecting hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of land. Perhaps it was caused by a combination of too much radical feminism and political correctness. Check these weird news items coming out of Scandinavia:
