With BTC going up through 24,25 and presumably 26

How many of you have effectibely as of last night "retired"?

I didn't make much but I recouped my initial investment + approx. 50%, I got out bit before 25, I'm keeping 1 whole coin on principle.

I actually can't wait to get a few extra dollars and do this again with you all, I might do so tomorrow, or maybe I should wait until the price goes down. People that use SR will still buy coins regardless, because it's not with a bitcoin value that price is set on there, that much I know.

But I'm also glad that online store for selling growing lights and grow lkghts accessories. Which also sells solar panels. Accepts BTC Grin

Well, since bitcoin has not quite doubled since the end of 2012 that means that to have enough bitcoins to be worth a million USD today you had to have bitcoins worth half a million USD at the end of 2012.

Many people sell into a rally when the exchange rate reaches a level that provides adequate return or when the seller believes it has advanced too far or too soon.  So there aren't that many people with a million dollars worth today.  We know that number is at least below 274 (as the total coins issued valued at the spot rate is $274 million).

If the actual number of bitcoin millionaires (i.e., those still holding bitcoins worth a million dollars) is fewer than ten in the entire world (including individuals and companies who hold bitcoins), I wouldn't be surprised.

i've done okay in general, but looking back i've definitely taken some wrong turns:

at $2: bought quite a lot
at $32: held them all
at $4: sold most (yay doubled my investment  Embarrassed )
at $5: bought in again
at $10: sold most (hooray doubled my investment again  Embarrassed )
at $25: posts in this thread

didn't have much choice though... in another thread i mentioned that i only sell when i need to, and unfortunately at those points in the market is when i needed to.

yep, for Smiley you need at least 500% ROI and for Cheesy and Grin you need at least 2000%
