So it's making headlines all over..Ellen admitted on her Facebook page she had made up the whole Gay shtick.
She said she had originally sort of played the part for rolls she auditioned for during the 80's & 90's.
But over time more people just assumed she was Gay so she went along with it.
So she said now she is tired of having to "pretend" and just wants to be considered straight.
She also said it was tough trying to fake lesbian relationships for so many years
and that she will put a lot about her fake lesbian history etc
into her new Autobiography book coming out soon called "Ellen Behind the Mask"
