No idea. Bittrex's mining tab for the coin shows the difficulty started increasing about two weeks ago. Probably someone mined a lot before pumping.

Is it SHA256 only now or is it still multi algo?

I don't have any coins anymore but I used to mine it back in September, 2014.

And now I found out that it was forked to SHA256 only around Dec 16, 2014.

Coin got abandoned. Community dumps the coin. Market Maker was pickung up all coins and is pumping it now. Classic  Cool
