All people should be aware of the risks of running or being involved in a ponzi scheme.
and you can say well it's not, but it clearly looks like one and that is far more than enough to have FBI officials at many of your doors.

Any random site that i see crypto coins discussed people have for a long time been calling Bitcoin itself a ponzi scheme
and now with Doge tards spamming the world with "much profit" nonsense i am seeing it on a far larger scale.

But there is a big difference between currencies that are at least made to look like an honest effort was made to compete with Bitcoin,
compared to what we see right now posted in the Altcoin section..

To me i think most coins are so close to a Ponzi scheme by definition that we can safely call it one.. close enough.

People are dumb and blind.. i mentioned before guys being arrested by the FBI from LocalBitcoins in Florida and idiots were telling me i made it up.
Go read the story at coindesk for example.. they were arrested for buying / selling bitcoin and Money Laundering charges were issued supposedly.

The world is saying this about many of you and your scam coins ..not just me.

I changed my polo username to BernieMadoff and suddenly everyone started becoming hostile towards me until InfiniteJest got tired of it and changed my username to ErnieDandruff.

Would be better off to just make a Madoff theme as a joke rather than naming an entire currency after him.

Nah I thought it was funny but was an interesting experiment, just the name provoked hostility from everyone, not just mods. I thought I'd share the story because that is probably what you would see happen if anyone made a MadoffCoin lol

If your going to do that, why not just make a Coin and call it "Ponzi Scheme" or "Pyramid Scheme", give it the ticker "HYIP" and model it to work as one. *shrugs*

Polo has morphed it's chat box rules as the popularity of Altcoins died off.
Remember when the chat went by like a bullet ?
I would say something and it would scroll up and be gone ion a second or two..

Now it could be total silence for an hour and if you start talking about something un-approved

I agree that he would love it here.  If he was doing this here, there would be less of a chance that he would be sitting in jail.  There are so many scam sites out there and people keep placing their monies into them with out want reservation and they keep loosing it.  I never see anyone going after any of these site owners.

With a 150 year prison sentence, Madoff wouldn't care about what goes on in the outside world.

I disagree when wealthy & powerful people go to jail it often means little.
They can & still do run their empires from behind a cell.
To think they do not care behind bars is silly.

I recently seen cell phone footage from inside a jail riot that had guards killed recently.
It was all over the media (the footage was public)
In case you all didn't know cell phones are not allowed in typical higher security North American prisons.

I also spent half my life visiting people in jail.
I was inside many of the famous prisons in my part of the country growing up.
I had old time family friends doing time for manslaughter or bank robbery etc.
I used a computer in like 1986 roughly in a medium / max prison in their computer room during an open house.
I spent the weekend with my Mom in a house overnight behind jail fences with M16 toting guards.
I spent many many many many years staring face to face spending hours & hours talking to people INSIDE jails.

Have you been strip searched before ? Stood over a mirror ?
Ever been to an open house ? Know what that is ?

I had a family member get married behind bars and i wore a blue suit when i went.
People were drinking booze & smoking dope at the reception and i got to eat wedding cake at home for ages..

I came home from school in grade 5 and seen the answering machine light flashing..
There was a message waiting for me for when i got off school that said,
"Hey Spoetnik, Mom & Dad were caught robbing a bank in Vancouver go to your Grandma's"
She wasn't even my Grandmother either just some old chick my Mom knew.

I sat in the court yard area while visiting as guys would smoke dope (same with the open houses)
I seen guys fucking in the yard with chicks visiting during the open houses.
And damn those open houses had some of the finest variety of baked good i ever tasted in my whole life !
I ate lunch many times in a max security lunch cafeteria.

I got plenty of stories trust me.. i got to see the inside of legendary prison(s) that were later shut down.
I got thrown out of school in grade 5 for wearing a "BC Pen" T-Shirt ahahhah

I grew up with family friends who were bikers or murders or bank robbers or drug dealers.

But hey what do i know.. you guys apparently know more than me about this shit.
After all your the young shit on the web shooting his fucking beak off.

I have no record and was never sentenced to any jail time ever.
