For some reason, even though I'm posting a lot, my activity is NEVER changing. It's standing at 42 for a couple of days now ignoring my constant posting. Why is this?

It means you only ever posted in 3 activity 2 week periods, best to just search the forums about how activity works.

The activity system is made up of two week activity periods. In each of these periods you can only get 14 activity (by making 14 posts).
If you have already made these posts and gained 14 activity, you have to wait until the next period to gain more.

It will take 14 days for all your posts to reflect in your activity.
