DNS is unauthenticated (1) and we really don't want to give your ISP's sysadmins a way to trivially trick you into sending coins to the wrong place on a mass scale.

1) DNSSEC was supposed to authenticate DNS ,but it's not used very much.

the TXT entry on dns could be used.
