New to trading, still can't to figure out how fees work.
I'm aware that maker/taker fees are 0.1% and 0.2%.
So if I open an order and close it after the total amount of fees can be 0.3%
That should mean, I need to close an open order at at least 1.003 higher price to avoid any loss.
Here is my last operation:
Trading with full margin of 3.3

Starting Balance - $1120
Bought 15ETH at $228.35
Sold 15ETH at 229.28
Profit 0.40727%
So I'm expecting 0.4%-0.3%=0.1% profit after fees.
But after this operation my balance changes to $1098, so I lost $22.

How does that work out?
Margin funding fees? But if I borough-ed roughly $2000 for this one operation and lost $22 funding cost is what? 1.1% per every trade?
Can you help me with that please?

Just made a test buying 1 ETH at $229.12 and selling at $228.94 with $0.18 loss.
Account was deducted by $1.10
So fees are $1.10-$0.18= $0.92

Percentage of fees works out as - $0.92/$229=0.4%

You made 2 trades. One to buy and one to sell. Thus the fees are 0.4% for both, or 0.2% each.
