What's weird about it is how quickly they took off. Strangely, I has what I thought was an innocuous post deleted off the announcement thread just before the dev locked it:

he has even deleted his bitcointalk posting history.. welp. he is not coming back anytime soon.

ps: i didnt see him as a scammer. And i will give him some time before i write him off as a scammer. So far i see him as extremely unprofessional on how he handle this. i was able to realize he does have a temper as he always sounded frustrated when he address NODE slow progression back when NODE "devs" were active on here. Therefore i was not surprised to see him calling the ico off (well at the time when i saw bittrex had paused the ICO) however to see almost everything deleted.. welp thats usually the death of it.

I don't see him coming back from this.

I left him a neutral feedback
i do not see him as a scammer too, just a disorganized people, like node dev.

Well, acording to this post:

He received 220 BTC through ico.edoncoin.com from one guy and didn't sent it to Bittrex as it was promised. So basically Bittrex was just used for better looking project.

I guess 220 BTC is far more than he expected to get, so he reveled himself so fast.

link for message in Russian thread from a guy who sent him 220 BTC: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1410868.msg14598102#msg14598102

from the other thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1441655.0

He got away with 220 BTC…

That is a huge amount of coins, more than they hoped for i am sure. Hope there are some clues from the old posts that help find out who they were.

People are sick of getting burned by countless devs who dump their coins and run away from the project. ICOs have proven to be an even more efficient way for anyone to take advantage of people who frequent this forum, looking for exciting ideas to invest in. In a way, I think all of the hostility is justified.

Another scam !
Nowdays Altcoins=Scam. The developer invests a few amount of btc to make an altcoin, launches it, premine or insta-mine happens, get listed on exchanges, developers cash out. Game over.

That's the big reason why many incoming alt and existing alts loses investors because of those scam dev make you think that a good future ahead showing you many future plan but right after hitting certain amount and it will be gone and run away. feel sorry for those investors as we don't have any clear explanation on what happen to this coin.

So many scam accusations, what is happening with the cryptoworld these days?

Same thing as 2014. A few yuge ICO winners (IOTA, Lisk) and out comes the ICO Frenzy - which inevitably includes scammers who set out Bitcoin-traps for folks who missed the big winners & are hoping to get onto the "next one."

Been there, suffered that. Undecided
