Hello all...

I wish I could stop making threads every time I get a new GPU but it seems like something always goes wrong..

I just installed a 7870 XT in my system to go with my 6950 (unlocked).

I'm having a bit of driver troubles with this combination. I assume I need to use a 13.X driver because I have a brand new type of card, please correct me if I am wrong. I am using 13.3 BETA. After running hte install once, my 6950 (primary card) runs exactly as it should. My 7870 XT however, seems to be forgotten during installation.. After a reboot I can run the install again (which doesn't require a reboot) and the 7870XT appears to have a working driver. Now that you know where my drivers are at, read below.

I am using CGminer 2.11.3. Reaper doesn't work, it never has, not keen on wasting time trying it as I know my server information is correct but it always fails.

My 7870 XT requires a thread concurrency of AT LEAST 15xxx to not put out hardware errors. At this concurrency, overclocking the card does nothing to improve my hash rate. I have tried up to 24000 thread concurrency with the card and I managed ~370Khs BUT, overclocking even 1MHz past stock lowers the hash rate. I know my overclocks are stable and I know my card is stable. I am capable of 500MHs (no flags) in guiminer mining BTC.

I have also noticed at after a reboot, my 7870xt driver stops working and needs to be reinstalled while the 6950 is running the way it should.

I need help with a driver solution :\

I know my 7870xt has a lot left in it.. If you can help me get what is untapped, I will appreciate it a lot Smiley
