Well i tought you should know That xapo is not really trustable, read my story.

I wanted to make 2 withdrawals of 200 euro each. The first one went through i got my 200 euro bills, the second withdrawal did not went through with a message at the atm of "Transaction declined". When i checked  xapo wallet i saw that they debited my account for both withdrawals.

I sent an email to the xapo, and they answered me after 24 hours, That i will have to wait and that it will stay pending for 16 days maximum.

A week later, No refund yet on my xapo account, i've decided to make another withdrawal at the atm, well guess what ?? Same problem, money debited from my xapo account and transaction error from the atm.

But this time i sent a second email to xapo, and they never answered me.

Any one has experienced this ? do they do this with everybody?

you have to be patient before telling them of fraud maybe they should check first before refund your money, as i know xapo is one bitcoin wallet reliable just that I already do not use it because they need my personal data.

Well, i really hope that you have right, but i contacted the bank of that ATM, they could see the attempts of the withdrawals, and they clearly stated that they never put a hold of funds or any kind of autorisation as the card issuer refused the transactions.

Another thing is that i used the same kind of card: mychoice corporate Visa Card from another website on the same atm, directly after the issue with xapo, And guess What?? It went through very smoothly.

What should be the reason from xapo to refuse the withdrawal ? my xapo wallet was well funded with more than enough money, I didn't exceed 2 withdrawals per day ... i checked all limits.

They never gave an answer on the declining reason, and the problem is not solved, worse i loose money after each attempt.

Call it what you want but a descent trustable compagny will never do this.  Undecided Undecided

Well, This is not the pin problem, i was using the xapo card since a year already, same card same kind of transactions same pin code, beside when that should be a pin error, then the funds should not be debited from my account in the first place.

Here it is very clear, transaction get declined for no reason, xapo deposit your account, at the end your have no money + a debit in your account. A Total Scam !!

They told you to wait for 16 days max so please be patient. They do have problems at times but Xapo isn't a scam. I have been using it for almost 1-1.5 years and have contacted the support just once to which they responded promptly. It must be some technical issue they must be facing.

I wouldnt call Xapo scam or fake cuz i have been using them for months without any problem... However, if that is causing problem for you, you might want to switch wallets... Coinbase is nice, you should try that..

Xapo support here! Sometimes, when a debit card is declined, that transaction will show up as 'pending' in your transaction history with the funds temporarily on hold until the cancelation has been confirmed.

Transactions can be declined when you swipe the card, or later on in the authorization system either by VISA, the merchant/ATM or the merchant's/ATM bank. These cancellations must then be communicated to Xapo via the settlement system. While most transactions get canceled, or settled within 1-2 days after the original authorization, merchants/ATMs have up to 16 days to broadcast confirmations and cancellations to the payment processing system.

As soon as Xapo receives the cancellation notice, you'll then see your transactions moved from "pending" to "canceled" and the funds made available in your wallet again.
