Need Litecoin Core (old) wallet help

About 2 years ago I invested in some LTC and py LitecoinQT wallet.
No I installed the new Litecoin Core v0.10.4.0 on my mac but after I start it shows my my wallet value (183LTC) but I dont get contact to the Blockchain - the blue bar stops at about 25% and shows only "no blockchain availabe".

As the litecoin.org forums are down can anyone give me help on how to get my wallet back online to transfer my LTC.

Your wallet is not syncronized..download bootstrap.dat,follow few instructions..It will speed up b.c. syncing process.Best of luck..
