Hi all.
i want to use my S5+ who drains about 3.5Kw.
but my photovoltaic plant reach 5kw just for a few hours every day.
The power supply distribution over the day is like a Gaussian curve.
So, how i can align my S5+ power comsumption, to my photovoltaic plant???
there any software who is able to reduce hash rate and consequently power consumption???

thank you a lot!!

try dropping the miner's frequency.

This is bad since he would net get the max out of his miner. What he needs is software which can automatically detec power capability and adjust the frequency on it.
Which can be done, but would be costly I think.

Does your plant use batteries?

I ask becuase a good 5kwatt plant running 24/7 will do about 1 kwatt for the entire time.

So if you had battery you could set the miner to mine at 2 th  24/7 .

Now battery is a p.i.t.a. So

If you track power with software you could run the miner at 3 speed changes a day

this could be a very cool idea... but until now, battery are very expensive...
I think to a custom device capable to read power production at Inverter OUT, and regulate hash rate consequently...
no device to fit this behaviour???

AFAIK my S7 recognize each hash board during operation without problems, so when I power-up or power-down hash boards during hashing, it automatically adjusts power by 1/3. You can use our Czech device called WattRouter. It can switch on/off several relays based on power plant supply and also based on "low" tariff.

Here is a link: http://www.solarcontrols.cz/en/wattrouter_eco.html

I am sure manufacturer can do a special upgrades for your special needs.
