Okay so I have no idea where the payment came from so I can't tell anyone to resend it. It's to a donation address, though I think it probably came from a free site as it wasn't a very large deposit and this address gets a lot of these.

The transaction Id is: ee082cd20d6bd35380d1311f84ca4ff967d72821aa12ca3f354718c3a5208e66.
It can be viewed on Blockchain.info.

It was sent on February 28th, yet it has yet to confirm. Also it periodically vanishes and reports being an invalid transaction, then it comes back a little while later.

Now it's a large transaction size, considering the amount included in it. There is a fee paid, but not exactly a large one.

Is there anything that can be done, or do I just ignore it? Everytime it reappears I get a notification for it, so it's a little annoying.

Interesting, it finally disappeared. Its a block that CV sent out with payments, at 12:35 AM ET on 2/28/13. It probably finally got deleted. Though its still showing up as unconfirmed in my client. Maybe he can resend it now.

Hm, it is a freebie site and I talked to the owner about increasing the fee, they have one set fee which is too low. I am getting them to adjust it per kb

So does that mean it will confirm eventually?

Not necessarily.  That will depend on how the sender decides to deal with the situation, but at least that other discussion thread indicates where the problem originated so you know who to complain to to see if you can get it resolved.
