Yes.  It's a clusterfuck.  The revoked thousands of API keys without reason.   I emailed them and got this explanation:

Quote
"API keys are approved or rejected completely at our discretion. Your request was denied because it does not meet the standards we expect from our API users.

There are no further details we will provide as to why we reject requests. Thank you for your interest."

Which loosely translates to: "fuck you, you aren't even worth an explanation"

So yeah, I'll be spending the next X number of hours recoding every single script of mine that uses it.  And never using them again.

Yep,according to the new terms and conditions of blockchain.info.The private API access is granted to only members verified with them personally.Have seen a lot of applications getting rejected.By any chance did you link them to any of the bitcoin doubling schemes as part of your project ? They're turning down all the similar requests. You have other options around, check out https://www.block.io/api ,they have easy stuff without having to wrote lot of code.I actually had one of my projects on Github getting approved by blockchain.info a I showed them the code and requested to their facebook page. You might as well try the same.

Yes it is rubbish, but yet another reason online wallet services are to be avoided.
