I have a couple hundred BTC, but the whole Ripple phase has gotten me interested. What are your thoughts?

Not really, I have been away from the whole Bitcoin scene for a while and all these new concepts are coming from all over the place. I only really am interested in Bitcoin.

I've been reading about it and watching YT videos on it but I still can't quite figure out what it does.  It seems to allow anyone to become a foreign currency exchange but it is complicated.  Maybe it lets the small business owner such as the corner gas station or convenience store to replace Western Union.

I think it looks pretty interesting, a decentralized paypal-type merchant? With lower to no fees?! Why not!

Chances are you will start hearing a lot about Ripple after the Bitcoin Conference in SJ next week.  If you want to buy, sell, trade XRP or BTC ... go to xrptrader.com and check it out ... ripple is more than a digital currency ...

Ripple is cool and interesting but not a replacement for bitcoin.

I'd signed up for the beta but haven't heard a lot about it really aside from that.

I think its a good idea but needs to be hashed out more.  Decentralized bitcoin exchange will be the future, but most likely it wont be on ripples platform.

In my earlier times, Ripple was a cheap wine with killer hangovers. Hopefully this Ripple has a better reputation.
