We were overwhelmed with the amount of you who wanted to begin using Bitspend.net on Sunday night when we launched.  So much so, that we had to suspend taking orders!  In the last 96 hours, we have gone through a round of funding and when we relaunch on Monday we'll be able to handle all the orders you guys throw at us Smiley

On top of our basic service, which allows you to spend your Bitcoins anywhere on the internet for a small flat fee(shops, hotels, flights, anything!), we added a few new features.  I want to tell you about one of them now - our favorite one!

  • The 100% guaranteed Anonymity Package allows you to purchase anything legal, without a single trace left over when your transaction is complete.  The way it works is simple.  You tell us what to order, we order it and have it shipped to our secure warehouse (24 hour security).  From there, your order is relabeled and shipped to you directly from us.  This cuts you out of the original transaction all together.  When you confirm you have received the item you ordered and are satisfied, we wipe all identifiable records of the transaction from our encrypted, offline storage.  We have plans in place to handle returns, exchanges, etc., and those will be detailed in our new FAQ page when we launch.

This brings back the days of cash purchases and integrates them into our digital lives.  Every time you buy something with your credit card both online and physically, you are instantly added to databases all over the world.  Governments, financial institutions, big data companies, all know everything you buy - but do they have the right to? NO!

Bitspend believes it is your right to shop anonymously.  As long as you are buying legal items, we will make sure you always have a safe and secure way to do that going forward.

Our new office will be open in the coming weeks in South Florida.  We're leaving an open invitation right here for any of you BTC enthusiast - feel free to stop by our offices and say hi, check us out, or get information on Bitcoins.  Should you happen to need some, we will always gladly sell you some on the spot as well Smiley

We have some things planned for the near future which will continue to shake up not only Bitcoins, but the way we use them.

For now, thank you all for your support!  We look forward to providing all of you with an affordable and secure way to shop online anywhere you want using your Bitcoins!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Justin W.

It does take a nice chunk of capital to pull it off, yes - however we were amazingly lucky enough to have a successful initial round of funding in a matter of days, which has enabled us to relaunch immediately with enough capital to handle all your orders!

Will we be able to place orders using GPG encryption so a record of our purchases isn't stored in Utah for all eternity?

Yes!  We have plans also to integrate PGP into the site for ALL communications.  We are also going to be upgrading our SSL certificate, so people always know they're on our secure site.

We know you rely on the word of the operator when a company tells you they are destroying your data.  We can only continue to live up to our word, and prove as time goes on that we are doing exactly what we sy we are as a company.

For now, please feel free to contact us via email using our public PGP key:

Yes!  We have plans also to integrate PGP into the site for ALL communications.
More Bitcoin sites need to give users the options of uploading a public key to encrypt email messages with.
