Hi everyone, I was wondering - with BTC going up and up. What is your endgame? I saw a lot of topics with "should I buy?" "should I sell?".
Let's assume you bought in range of 100 - 700 USD, at what point are you going to sell large portion of it (75+ %)?
Poll is set to 28 days so it ends with halving: 10 Jul 2016.

I vote 10k USD. It is very possible price in around 5 - 10 years.

I plan to sell around 25% of my total holdings. (at two different price points)
I went with your last option as I believe I will be able to buy things with BTC when the time is right.

I did not get into bitcoin to make fiat? Selling is not an option for me, I will spend my bitcoin for the win.

I plan to sell 75% of my bitcoin's at around $2500. I think it'd be stupid to sell 100% though.

I personally think we will get to 10k much earlier - I think it's matter of maxium next halving which will be in next 4 years...

I see you've been around for quite some time (since 2011) so it probably makes sense to wait a bit longer

I was looking for 900 option but didn't get it. I will sell majority of my holding at around 800 to 900 price range.

Dude, if we hit $1200, yeah I'm going to sell. Some anyway. Sometimes it's good to take a profit and spend it. But $1200...don't know when that's going to happen.

The best place for me to exit would be 10k, as like everyone, I am also waiting for my coins to be worthwhile.

I have 2 sets of coins, the first are the ones that I have had forever and are mine to play with/invest with as I please. The second is a group that I have been saving from selling bitcoins on LBC that I am going to use to put towards my wife's student loan debt (about 90K worth left). Have about 15 coins sitting in my account and it is growing everyday in value and amount. I was hoping to have accumulated 20 coins by the time the price starting surging but fell a little short, but still, I would love to be able to cash out about 20k from this little hoard.
EDIT: Side note, anything over 20k gets put towards the 80 inch TV I have been dreaming about.

my personal opinion is that it's matter of days tops, if we are going to there it will be days, few weeks tops. It won't be months or it won't happen in a few years.

I will sell few of my coins when it crosses $1500 as that is the target I have set in my mind, no matter even if it takes long time to reach there, I will prefer to hold till then.

@3k pays off the mortgage, but the dream is to build my own house on some land, @7-10k does that.
I will get out at some point in this current rally, take some profits and buy back in after the crash

I think that around 50% of my coins will basically remain in my wallets for ever. I want to have a very long term position in Bitcoin as I believe the far future will bring me a good amount of wealth. Then around 25% of my coins will get sold on the way up starting from $1000 to +$5000. And the other 25% of my coins are purely for trading purposes. These coins I buy and sell all the time for obvious reasons.

Then you ain't gonna be able to spend them either? I think the whole point is never needing to sell. If it was into the thousands and more, people are gonna want your coins for whatever you're looking to buy off them. Other than that you'd be dumb to let them go.
