I don't really like his phrasing "the dollar has crashed 90% against bitcoin."  It makes it sound like dollars have only 10% of the value they had.  This isn't true, and the dollar hasn't crashed.  The dollar is still the relatively stable base of comparison.  Bitcoin skyrocketed against it, is the proper way to phrase it.

It's great to be excited about something and bitcoin is doing really well; I don't think it's smart or necessary to promote it by pretending some sort of doomsday is scenario is playing out with fiat.

Totally agree. Very silly to say "dollar has crashed 90% vs. Bitcoin".  I hate dollars and love bitcoin, but foolish statements like that don't help anything... it's like if you were trying to find the most skewed, distortive, misleading, clearly biased statistic you could come up with, this is what you'd use.

I wonder what Max Keiser will be saying if Russia were to take a stance against bitcoin....I'm sure his spiel would change to something like "Bitcoin designed by evil fatcats in Washington blah blah blah blah..."

believe it or not RT isn’t that bad, there are occasional pro Russia type propaganda pieces, but they do report all the same Russian scandals and alike that the BBC n that cover, they don’t censor like the BBC do that’s for sure.

Have you actually ever sat down and watched RT for any length of time (ie a couple of hours).  It's absolutely 95% propaganda garbage, with the 5% being about ridiculously inconsequential local Russian news pieces, such as a donkey hot dog eating contest attended by 50 people dressed in burlap stacks in Siberia.

EVERY story mentions the US or UK or EU in a negative manner.  Even stories that you start off thinking "at least this story can't be about the US" end by being about the US.

Story: Earthquake in Haiti; US fault.

Story: AIDs in Africa; US fault.

Many hotels here (in Thailand) have really crappy free satellite service, so whenever I'm on holiday I end up getting stuck watching RT.  The stories are so ridiculous that I watch it for the laughs.

I'm not saying any other news services are great and true, but RT is straight up garbage.

Well, America wanted to be the center of the world...so now it is Tongue Along with its older cousins.

He's now a raving disciple Smiley

He always was, was he not?

Great setting, out there in the cold ... gotta love that Wink.

If we all agree on that Eris is Satoshi I shall become religious and consider starting to pray every 23rd block.

I don't really like his phrasing "the dollar has crashed 90% against bitcoin."

But that's what it did. In that or any other phrasing.

Please check out some charts available everywhere.

No I don't think so.

I guess he would just walk on to the next possible platform he can get to say what he wants to say. And it's worth it.

View him as an artist who describes what's going on economically probably nearer to factual reality that your average XXX-anchorman going "everybody's doing great and everything is under control".

as i recall, it was Stacy who was the one who had to convince Max about Bitcoin.

now that's really interesting. She seems like a very clever lady (admit to a slight crush) and comes up with some extremely perceptive insights, I wonder if it is her who has figured out how they are to secure the bitcoin millionaire's fortune?

NB: it doesn't seem advisable to advertise if one has that kind of wealth tied up in bitcoin unless you are A-grade confident of your computer security.
