Hello, my friends!

If you're between the ages of 18-24, and are an ambitious and talented Canadian, then I may just have a project for you!

We are launching a Bitcoin Startup here in Canada. If you want to hear some details, feel free to send me a PM. Specifically we're looking for someone with a programming background, and additionally someone with a graphic design/web design background. That being said, more important to us is to create a team with talent, drive and ambition. If you want to be part of something which could change the face of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency in Canada, contact me and we'll go from there.

Take care, and I wish good luck to all who are in this forum right now!
Until next time,
Anthony

Already legal age but still young enough to get scammed easily.

I'm 26. Smarter than when I was 24. Even smarter at 28. Adjust your maths.

The age preference put up of 18-24 was to find any overlooked talent out there that isn't getting a fair shake because of their age. I think age and skill are related to a degree, but I don't think it's by any means a nice linear relationship.

That being said, if you're older, or even younger really, and may be interested feel free to contact me. Putting together a team that is driven and talented is more important to me than putting together a team with a certain age group or even a certain skill-set.

It can never hurt to show some initiative and send me a PM even if you're outside of the listed age.

Take care everybody, hope your search on this subforum is going well,
Anthony

Wow, really?  Right now if you're young and have any kind of degree at all, there is no way you can be overlooked. There's more jobs than graduates.

On the other hand, if you're over 40, don't quit your job unless you have a contract somewhere else! People will just assume you're too old to learn new technologies or that they can hire two kids for the price of one veteran.

In France it's a common occurrence for IT/devs to be 'shelved' at 40 apparently.

At least here ageism is still illegal...

Just saying... The best way to succeed is to have both young pups and an experienced bear or two.

(Sorry, this type of stuff makes me mad. Every single want-add for software dev. wants 'young, dynamic' people... As if having to death march to deadlines and staying at work all weekends was somehow an attractive plan. sheesh. Smiley  I can see there's something wrong going on and it's only going to get worse, but no one talks about it.)

Anyway, good luck with your project, any Bitcoin development in Canada is great news. Smiley

I believe the really issue here is for people like myself who wish to work in the tech field but don't have the diploma/degree AND job experience many of these companies (startup or no) are looking for.

@Instacoins
Expect a PM from me later today.

That opening statement pretty much led me to believe this venture will fail.
You need talent, regardless of 'it's' age.
