If only your account didn't look like a non-participating ghost troll account, that would be believable. But you don't participate in the real Bitcoin community, because you're not representing yourself, you're representing your boss

And you're literally complaining all day every day about how unhappy you are with Bitcoin's design, so I don't know who you think you're fooling with your claims to be happy

Well, I think anything big that happens to eth does have some bearing on its big daddy in terms of how the whole crypto thing is perceived so the major news is relevant in a way, but not the small stuff.

Either way r/btc is filled with hysterical assholes who need new hobbies.

This doesn't even surprise me, /r/bitcoin stops the divisive discussion of core v. classic, classic goes no-where anyways, all the mad kids go to /r/btc, once they don't get their way and everyone kind of forgets about classic they switch to Ethereum because Bitcoin MUST be a failed currency because Mike Hearn said so.

They declare ETH as the next great thing, and they all speak out against Bitcoin. ETH does relatively well.

ETH is a shitty crypto and can't be fucking coded properly, so the network gets hacked and everyone dumps their Ethereum because it is sompletely unsafe and not worth holding onto. The value of ETH has declined over 38% since the hack and is moving down still.

/r/btc gets mad and tries to prop up ETH, but fail to realize that faith from investors in Ethereum has been destroyed, and it is over.

/r/btc dies eventually or changes to another crypto.

It is interesting and painful at the same time to see that there is split in the community. I thought the bitcoin way is the logical way - why so much hate?
People from Reddit hate members of bitcointalk, people from r/btc hate users of r/bitcoin and god know who else.
Every single bitcoin's forum seems to to has its own agenda and group of followers supporting it. Do we have to take sides in this?
I haven't seen any positivity on reddit as I can see here on this forum. I was a part of other bitcoin forums too which soon became inactive and mainly reddit users are altcoin lovers. They are lovers of ETH and earlier they loves Doge and bashed bitcoins and the users. The hate there is too disturbing.

Hey, this whole little split in the community is just a natural thing happening with every technology out there... We have seen this with the OS wars {Linux / MS / Unix / Mac.. } and also the Browser

wars back in the days.. { Netscape / IE / Firefox etc... } ... It's just something we do. We all fall under the same category, namely : Crypto Currencies.. but we at each others throats all day. If ETH or

any other Alt fails miserably, it reflects badly on everyone involved in Crypto Currencies. So we should just think of that ... And remember, Bitcoin had a huge flaw like this in the beginning to, but it was

closed very quickly.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin did have a fault back in 2010 but it was rectified quickly and also the market cap was nowhere near what ethereums and the dao is. If this flaw had been only found recently in bitcoin history then it would be completely different. I also heard that the eth/dao developers were aware of this flaw yet it was never rectified, in fact it was spoken about just days before and they said they had fixed it. this makes the whole situation worse as well.

The irrational people are always at the wrong sides of those. Similarly they are at the wrong side of this "debate".

Wrong. Stop posting about things that you do not understand. Bitcoin had a problem at the protocol level, which broke the initial consensus rules (specifications) and raised the supply artificially. What happened to ETH is not comparable to that. ETH has not been broken at the protocol level in such a way that someone could artificially increase the supply. Do not justify an ETH bailout with Bitcoin's past. As soon as one does this ('forks' to "reclaim" coins), they aren't any better than the Fed.

So far I have not gone to deep into ETH, mainly because of the previous scams/phishing pm in various forums... I believe it is a good idea but I think bitcoin has everything I need. In addition, I feel like it was started as a project to make the founders very rich...

lol I'm just reading up there and just watching the flame and salt war.

Reddit is a place where people advertise, talk shit and don't really understand that anything SC can do, multisig can.

ethereym supporters are the worst and they have always been annoying as hell from the beginning.
i have seen all kinds of altcoins and altcoin supporters but this ethereum is something different, they do everything they can to bash bitcoin in order to bring their premined pump and dump coin up.

I own both bitcoin and Ethereum with the value ratio 100:1 in favour of bitcoin. But I want the block size to be increased soon to accommodate more transactions.

I'm tired of reddit posts as all spew hate on bitcoins and advise others to stay away from bitcoins.

The comments this thread has received are full of hyprocrisy
https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/4oimas/the_double_standard_at_rbitcoin_on_full_display/ It's as if the bitcoin section is to just promote ETH and not bitcoins. What's the point they want to prove?
