Why wouldn't the EU trade with the U.K.? It would basic and low to punish trade... And EU does trade with the rest of the world, so why not uk? Too much fear mongering some people are pumping their shorts;-)
The European Union member states would like to wreck the British economy, in order to "punish" the Brits for their LEAVE vote. Merkel and the rest of the German politicians are now fuming with anger. They will make the Brits suffer, so that the other rebels, such as France and Greece remain in the Union. Still, they are having very limited options.
Sadly I can only hope that you are wrong and that after all the damages they have done (saving Deutsche Bank by killing the south of Europe and this massive immigration to destabilize societies and the war on eastern Ukraine and the coming trade dictate with d.c. That for once they will behave rationally and intelligently). Why not surprise the world and be extra kind and accommodative to the UK. Help them succeed in their own Islands, learn cooperate excabne solve problem for the benefits of all European people. A strong Independent UK is a plus in Europe. The Brits will go on vacation and still buy wine, beers, cars and cheese... So to behave like frustrated kids who could not have their ways in the school yard and sabotaging everything is just not an adult response. Do they want to see uk in chaos? Refugee too from there? To lower the prostitution prices even more in the street of Mannheim and Hamburg? Easterners aren't enough?
