ICO vs Top 20 on Coinmarketcap?

I read much about comparison of ICO and Top 20 on Coinmarketcap. I believe every coin / token has capabilities and in the future we do not know what will be more stable. The project's success is in the hands of the team how they will follow the roadmap and indicate their whitepaper. Community also help the project so it needs involvement in the project. No matter ICO or Top 20 on Coinmarketcap it is possible to be top in the future.
