Yes, I think so. When I started this round the service was still open for sign-ups but it seems like they have temporarily closed for sign-ups because they had like hundreds of thousands of people signing up at once or something like that. I hope it will open for new sign-ups again soon.

The purpose is a) to make a fun game and b) if people upvote the post we can share the profits a bit so not only for me. Yes if there are not enough upvotes nobody will make money but at the same time nobody really looses money either. So it is a game of chance to some extent like many other games.
