An “Unconfirmed” transaction persists from my attempt to transfer bitcoins from my Bitcoin.org wallet to SR. I've tried all the ideas I have. The recipient, SR, said “...not sure why but your wallet is not sending that transaction to the network, so it has yet to be recorded on the blockchain, and therefore yet to be confirmed.”, but they couldn't help.

Question: How can I Reset the transaction? I even thought of establishing a wallet at Multibit, because they support an easy to use Reset, but haven't been able to effect a valid Export/Import to establish a wallet there.

Below is the report of the transaction as displayed in the Bitcoin.org wallet:

Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 3/5/2013 12:48
To: Silk Road 1wfWY8vo4iUW3iK894fM45rcEkVf8pJtC
Debit: -0.0595 BTC
Net amount: -0.0795 BTC
Transaction ID: 694ed127aa7b7107b3e8bac25a1dc12d2aae9759da666b04bf109f28f2abb4a8

PS: I've hacked at this as best I can, but whatever knowledge/skills I have aren't up to this. I'm an old timer—entered the computing community in 1961, and am heartened by Tor, Bitcoins and the new openness and stunning possibilities on the horizon.

The transaction has 190 confirmations now:

That transaction has been confirmed.  It has 191 confirmations at this time:

https://blockchain.info/tx/694ed127aa7b7107b3e8bac25a1dc12d2aae9759da666b04bf109f28f2abb4a8

As long as 1wfWY8vo4iUW3iK894fM45rcEkVf8pJtC was the correct address to send it to, then the problem is on their end.

There is no way to cancel a confirmed transaction.

Its stupid to say in a public forum that you use SR and to expose your SR address.
