Future in web designing ?

I was bit confused if i asked this question in current section ? Sorry if i posted in wrong section
Back to my question i wanted to ask will it be good for my future to do web designing course.Right now i am 21 years old in the last year of B.Sc in Computer Science with this i want to do a web designing course .
But i want that kind of job where i do not have to leave my house and work in other city because my city is quiet small this kind of jobs are not available here.
I want to work as a freelancer , staying home working on my laptop .
Right now i earn some times with articles writing but thats not fix.Can i get good work online regularily after doing web designing course ?

I don't know too much about web designing. But I also tried to find freelance job as translator and accountant, and nothing happen. Because internet is full with suggestions about freelance work and you gonna be one of millions web designers there. So try to make commercial to your skills or make the lowest price for your services at the beginning. I wish you good luck.

If you work as a freelancer, you will have to compete with other freelancer from all over the world. The possibility to get good work depends primarily on your ability to acquire good customers. Your formal qualification are not really important, the only thing that matters are your real skills. So you can do a web designing course or not, it's simply important that you are very good at web designing - ideally much better than the average competition in the field.

What you need are proofs of your (outstanding) work that can convince potential customers that you are the ideal person for the job in question. References from well-known companies are a great plus.

I think nowadays, earning a living in web design is not easy. But if you are really good at it and willing to work hard, you can live well from it. In addition to being good at web design, you also should have very good communication skills, which means being highly responsive, obliging, and friendly to your customers.

To start as freelancer you will need to get the trust from someone that you dont know. Your skills will be show off or not as the work you make, and as everywhere, you will find competition for the works you think you can make for a price, and see others dumping your magica number into some pennies. Sure if you go for a medium size or start your own company you should sucess, but the online market isnt easy.

He is correct, these days free templates even responsive ones are everywhere free to download and there are lots of designer kid willing to edit those theme for pennies. So you better learn backend coding like lavarel, nodejs etc which are very hot and demanded currently.

Templates at this point in internet history have basically made every form of web design irrelevant and valueless. The other coding systems you mention are also considered more valuable due to what I assume is their rarity and usage are also thing you might as well learn, because there is no point at which something like that isn't a valuable piece of knowledge to have.

Web design is no longer a decent career, even for part time work. Unless you maintain a website for a company and own the servers and everything and own a server bank, you might as well forget about everything.
