I read some signature campaign about BTC mixer. I never try, but seems this is a good opportunuty for privacy. I would understand more about this kind of service and how BTC mixer are safe. Any Mixer user could explai me his experience and his suggestion?

When you steal coins or you want to buy some illegal stuff on the darknets you need to mix your coins.

So mixer should be used only for illegal stuff?  Huh
No.If you receive funds and want to stay anonymous, you use mixer for that also.Though why would someone wants to stay anonymouse unless he does something illegal is beyond my comprehension

Solely for privacy reasons. Mixing my coins help me to maintain a certain level of anonymity that Bitcoin alone can't give me.

I for example use a mixer because of when I use a service to buy Bitcoin instantly, I want my coins to be out of sight as the coins that I have bought have my details attached to it.

And that's exactly the reason for me to use a mixing service as bitmixer to get fresh coins that I can send to my cold storage, or to spend it somewhere.
Means bitcoin's transaction is not that anonymous as what other people think? Is it really possible to identify the dox of the user using his coin? How could it be?

The problem is this :

If I buy and withdraw coins from the exchanges where I am fully verified at with all my details, the coins that I send to my wallets will have my details attached to it.

From there the exchange can follow these coins and even find out to where I am sending them to.

That's not even the worst part, the worst part is that the exchange in question can play all this information to the government if they force the exchange to do so.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

There are plenty of reasons to use one, many of them legit. It seems like a shame you have to do such a thing to shield the use of your own coins for perfectly legal activities but there you go.

Apart from those freshly mined, all coins are going to have a fraction of traceable dirt on them. It's a borderline certainty that we've all got Silk Road coins somewhere. That's why this blacklisting stuff is so silly.

Only the person who are really involved in illegal activities like hacking others wallet and stealing coins or buying illegal products only dont wanted their address should be tracked other than this no other normal user will want to use mixer by paying high fees uselessly.

If only the ones really involved in illegal activities are using mixers, there would be no use of mixers at all as you get somebody else coins involved in illegal activities instead. So this would not help you to use mixers at all if you wanted to get some 'clean' coins not involved in illegal activities before.

You get somebody else coins because this is how mixers work, you send Bitcoin to mixer and you recieve another Bitcoin sent to mixer long ago by somebody else, there is no other magic involved. So I would adwise to use the coin mixers with caution, because you never know what coins you really get.
The purpose mixers are trying to serve is to try to increase the difficulty of people trying to track the coins. There is no reason for anyone to get clean coins since there is no use for it. A mixer simply mixes the coin with others and since they are mixed, no one can accurate match the destination address and the origin address. Nearly every coin you receive from services/exchanges are likely already tainted somehow.

Actually, if you want clean coins, you can find a service which buys the coins from the miners in exchange for the customer's coins. I can't recommend any since I haven't tried any of them.

This doesn't matter though, right? I mean the FBI still auctioned off those coins they seized from Ross and I'm sure it's not illegal to spendcoins that have been used for illegal purposes, if you did not partake in those illegal activities.

I also use a mixer btw, when sending Bitcoins to my cold storage wallet Smiley
Not involved in any illegal activities

That is a good point about mixing coins before sending to cold storage.
Do you have a site which you recommend?
I'm planning on moving some stuff to a paper wallet and would consider mixing before I moved them to storage to make it harder for someone to trace.

I know there's that one site bitmixer.io or whatever that I see in some users' signatures, you might want to look into them, but I personally have no idea if they're decent or not so you'll have to take what I say with a relative grain of salt.

Why you would want to send your Bitcoin through a mixer before you send it to cold storage is kind of strange to me, but I guess it works if you really don't want someone watching your funds.

I've always used Bitblender through Tor.

Call me paranoid, but I like some anonymity for the addresses that have more than, say, 10 BTC on them Smiley
Who knows, laws might change, Bitcoin might become illegal, who knows?

It is only necessary for privacy to obscure illegal activities. Otherwise, you are trusting bitcoin to a third party for no good reason and paying a fee for the privilege.

Actually you can legally use it to avoid taxes legally. You can go through loopholes and also for privacy reasons since the blockchain is not private. A bigger private company might use it to protect their customers.
