Saw this news article today on the attacks in France

What is interesting is the traditional media is obviously starting to lose its grip on the narrative. The comments section is the most telling part.
After deleting a majority 6 of 13 comments the moderators just gave up and shut comments down entirely.

This is always sad when media from the free world censor discourses... It's a lack of respect for the thoughts of others human beings and a false and useless attempt at controlling the narrative... Why not produce a better intellectual argument to win the mind rather than censoring...

How is killing hundreds of thousands of innocents more going to help? We need to rebuild countries. Not destroy even more.

I see alot of posts here saying its the French government's fault for going into other countries and attacking other countries. Well I say they had no choice and in fact dropped the ball on ISIS. Everything was going well up until the bleeding hearts made the troops pull back. Now the war is in your streets and your children are being killed. Are you happy now? You got what you wanted... You should have just let the military finish what they started.

The attacker is the one at fault for what he did. But people can't ignore the consequences of the actions of their governments. And not only recent actions related to isis or in libya for example. Look at france's colonial past. Look at the large population in france that lives in slums and is marginalized. All that plays a part.

That only goes to show how screwed up that religion makes people who are in a fragile mindset to begin with when they get suckered into join this crud of the earth thatt will eventually destroy this society that we live in.

Isil claimed responsibility Saturday for the attack by Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel who used a hired lorry to kill at least 84 people in a rampage during Bastille Day celebrations in Nice.  An Islamic State-run media outlet says the man who drove his truck into a crowd in the French coastal city of Nice is a "soldier" of the group. The Aamaq news agency on Saturday cited a "security source" as saying the attacker "carried out the operation in response to calls to target the citizens of coalition countries fighting the Islamic State."
