Saw this news article today on the attacks in France

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/jul/15/france-nice-attack-shock-bastille-day

What is interesting is the traditional media is obviously starting to lose its grip on the narrative. The comments section is the most telling part.
After deleting a majority 6 of 13 comments the moderators just gave up and shut comments down entirely.

This is always sad when media from the free world censor discourses... It's a lack of respect for the thoughts of others human beings and a false and useless attempt at controlling the narrative... Why not produce a better intellectual argument to win the mind rather than censoring...

Believe the police?

Too much of a coincidence if you ask me.

They do not want to unite the country against Islam by admitting an attack on the national symbol of France.
No kidding man!
Belief in police let alone the french. Both double FAIL if you do that!  Wink

It was a co-ordinated attack - one in Nice then an attempt on the Eiffel Tower just to make a point to French officials that they mean business. Come on now  Roll Eyes You know who you are dealing with aren't feeble minded nit-wits who don't know what they are doing. These are suicide bombing Jihadists who will stop at nothing to kill or be killed for the love of their Allah.
I would not like to be living in France or near them (even in Belgium) right now. One incident after another in a span of 2 years is total BS and as many of those "Drinking our wine and just keep living as normal" french people think, they are not safe in their own country. That is the NEW REALITY for them from now on!  Angry

Good post, thx! 234 deads since the socialists took power in France... Another aspect is that some politicians will put the career of election before national security... And secondly the narrative is always defeated before reality... There is too much public relation and spinners around...

So what really at the Eiffel Tower?

The problem is that you think about China now... You forget that it's only the beginning... I know having the most efficient btc miners at the best rate without import taxing can be annoying to wanna be miners...

Look how China was 20 years ago? 50 years counting rice for children... You will see and I hope that in all aspect China will only become better!!! China has a dream... And it will become a reality... This is the difference with having a narrative try to mask a nightmare ;-)

<3

Edit: you want a good new Chinese proverb? It's better to have too much building inventory than too little grains of rice...

I dont even get why do people forgive someone who killed a child ( does not matter if it was on purpose,or by accident ),i think
that if the person done something stupid which caused the child death,he should get death sentence for it,unless it was not his fault/

Throw a Nuke, I am so fucking tired of this.

How is killing hundreds of thousands of innocents more going to help? We need to rebuild countries. Not destroy even more.

I see alot of posts here saying its the French government's fault for going into other countries and attacking other countries. Well I say they had no choice and in fact dropped the ball on ISIS. Everything was going well up until the bleeding hearts made the troops pull back. Now the war is in your streets and your children are being killed. Are you happy now? You got what you wanted... You should have just let the military finish what they started.

The attacker is the one at fault for what he did. But people can't ignore the consequences of the actions of their governments. And not only recent actions related to isis or in libya for example. Look at france's colonial past. Look at the large population in france that lives in slums and is marginalized. All that plays a part.

You sure religion had anything to do with this? From what I read he wasn't a practicing muslim. Or religious at all. And last I saw there were no known links to terrorist organizations. Isis or others. Not that isis represents islam.

France has a rise of nationalist / extreme right. Media will never report if he would be a fanatic muslim, muslims/nationalist would start a civil war. Socialists want to stay in power at all cost.

Nice terror attack: Isil claims responsibility for Bastille day attack that killed 84 people, as French minister says Bouhlel was 'radicalised very quickly'
Quote
Isil claimed responsibility Saturday for the attack by Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel who used a hired lorry to kill at least 84 people in a rampage during Bastille Day celebrations in Nice.  An Islamic State-run media outlet says the man who drove his truck into a crowd in the French coastal city of Nice is a "soldier" of the group. The Aamaq news agency on Saturday cited a "security source" as saying the attacker "carried out the operation in response to calls to target the citizens of coalition countries fighting the Islamic State."
