SMF Help-> Posting -> Image inserting does not work

Hello,

wanted to post an image. Looked in the help section here:

There is written

would result in showing the image. But when I post

there is only the image link shown, not the image directly in the post.

But I see in the forum that posting images directly in the post is possible. Please tell howto achieve this in the help section.

Bitcointalk.org is set up so that only Jr. Member rank+ can post images directly onto the forum, probably to deter spammers/trolls that post NSFW or random images. You will need to have over 30 activity to be a Jr. Member. Format is correct though, so don't worry about that.

Thanks for explanation. As You can see, it would be helpful, if this information would be given on the above mentioned help page.

Also, I did not find in the help section, a table of what restrictions are established for what rank. Maybe there should be a new tab "Rank"
