I'd trade ethereum classic only. Not even touching the piece of Shet hard forked chain.

Hopefully trading will be available somewhere. Don't expect exchanges like Kraken, Gemini or Coinbase where the CEOs are heavily invested in Ethereum to pick it up anytime soon.

I think the support is too little for ethereum classic. If they manage to pull it off and get it traded, the value of ethereum and/or classic will have to take a hit as there will be two coins trading on the exchanges.
I think the fork was the biggest clusterfuck they could do, so I would support the ethereum classic chain, but only when exchanges stop trading the fork.

Pretty much how I feel about it. On principle I feel Classic is really what we should be looking at, but money talks and all that.

Unfortunately it's been poorly documented how to protect yourself if you want to participate in both chains (clearly there is an interest by some to make it more difficult than need be). Currently it's not clear who might support the classic chain. |

There is no need to wait, if you support the ETC, you can buy a lot out of exchanges. You can also buy some from the DAO hacker in the future. |
