I was wondering if this coin has got real adoption on the darknet, or if it just took a "fancy" (or maybe olf fashoned name)?
I asked this question about Dash in another thread and I was told that dark markets are pretty much operating on bitcoin alone. I've never used Tor and I've never browsed anything on the dark markets thus far. I was curious as to whether any of these coins that are supposed to be tailor made for illicit things are going to get adopted. We'll see.
For a coin named Silkcoin I really hope it does get adopted on the darknet. I don't see any feature that could differenciate it from other shitcoin exept branding name.
You must not have read the whitepaper. It's all cutting edge. Already accepted by azure cloud. Anon transaction, weaver service, mining services. POS, and POW. Decentralized weaver/exchange, exchanging Silk for Drksilk for BTC. Decentralized i2p marketplace. Darknet just has to use it they don't have to build a new onion website on a centralized server. It'll be like how torrents are handled.
Really I could go on more but you can do the leg work if you really care to find out.
To the op.
I am expecting drksilk to reach a dollar at least when it's running full steam, silk i am expecting 8k-12k range. Who knows though. Drk is obviouly going to be more expensive than silk. But Drk has the POW phase, silk is done with that and the silk reward is going down for staking, so short term newly minted supply is going down.
