I cannot pity someone that plays Satoshi Dice...
I hope everyone can buy common sense with BTC soon, it seems some people need it...

I still don't get satoshi dice at all.  Sure it is not terrible odds comparing to other gambling, but it is still stacked against you so why does anyone play?  A satoshi sports book and I might be intrested, but satoshi dice is both boring and not profitable.

You know what the difference is between people who play Satoshidice with their entire bankroll on the line and people who play Russian Roulette?

The people who play Russian Roulette don't get to post threads about how much they lost.

The best part will be when they'll be forced to change their full-retard method of using the blockchain as a state variable of betting outcomes.

Can anyone tell me how much the two major users of the blockchain pay in fees to the miners that make their companies possible?
what fees for filling the blocks do Satoshidice and Mt Gox pay?
Serious question because I am not smart enough to figure it out.   I assume since both of them are run by "huge supporters of bitcoin" that neither company would be a leech on the backs of the miners confirming all these transactions.

The front page of satoshidice says guaranteed 98% break-even odds as one of their main marketing statements. I don't understand why people find it so hard to interpret the statement's real meaning:

Guaranteed 2% loss

And here's a quote from Warren Buffet:

Quote
On my honeymoon I traveled out west. When I visited the casino and saw all these smart well-dressed people participating in a game with the odds against them, it was then that I realised I won’t have a problem getting rich!

By the way, look who else uses the "Stress Testing" rationalization to be a profiteering douchebag - some kid running a DDoS service. Krebs has the low-down here:

https://krebsonsecurity.com/2013/05/ddos-services-advertise-openly-take-paypal/

"I was only stress-testing websites!" - DDoS Douchebag

"I was only stress-testing the blockchain!" - Satoshi Dice Douchebag

Seems he isn't the first scumbag to use that line - hilarious.
