Getting people to use Bitcoin- ideas

I'm open my online shop and start accepting bitcoin. Some people may ask what is bitcoin and I can explain it for them as promotion of bitcoin.
I'm also have my own website that accept bitcoin so for who has bitcoin , they can purchase my ring with bitcoin

advertising is a good idea and would help bitcoin to become more known. but of course there is a problem. advertise is not for free and nobody wants to pay for it as long as he is not profiting. so that leaves us with companies that handle bitcoin.

Perhaps fb has the highest number of  users currently  than other social networks . I  think it's a good platform to educate and inform the public about the value of crytocurrency. Definitely some curious users  would want to  explore this  nacent tech.However it will take some few years for bitcoin to become popular. We all have a role to play for its widespread.

yah, absolutely. Digital platform like fb,Twitter can help us to spread bitcoin widely. we can promote bitcoin and it's value to fb or Twitter. thus many people would join bitcoin and will invest on it.

More of us here in Philippines here in our country knows bitcoin. So they use for investing, trading and gambling. They also use it paying they bought in online shop. So people in ours are good in bitcoin or what is bitcoin all about and whe are not late in the trend of the world. So thank you for the who invented this because of him I change my life.

Countries like yours are the ones where people can benefit from Bitcoin already.
That's really great to see and where I believe Bitcoin is going to have a real impact first.
In the western world people are used so much to credit cards, debit cards, paypal and stuff that they hardly see the advantages of Bitcoin.That's why it will take much longer becoming mainstream beside trading, speculation and online purchases.

This is very true because they have become accustom to using those sources to pay for things that it will be hard for them to know any other way to do it.

Btw isn't it illegal to gamble in the phillipines? Or banned from what I understand from another thread about it's use there.

I think when just explain the fundamentals of bitcoin people really get it.  i know that a few of my friends have had a laugh when i first explained bitcoin but over time most of them have started looking into it and ended up using it.

I think to encourage people to use bitcoin someone has to make comics about it to explain the pros and cons. I suppose the problem that  people don't know and use bitcoin well can be solved by some interesting way of introducing the information about it.

One way to getting people to use bitcoin by tell your friends and give an explanation all about the advantages of bitcoin through Facebook will do the same, I think will works like you do. Basically people will attracted to bitcoin whether as currency to earn or as investment.

I think sharing bitcoin news in social media is a great thing, but somehow people not really interested if you only explain and announce in social media, i think the best way for people to recognize bitcoin is through an event, maybe gaming event where the price is bitcoin or charity event
