First of all, I would like to say that English is not my mother tongue and I would like to apologize in advance for bad grammar.

I am new to the "Bitcoin-world" and I have made the first steps with the Electrum wallet.

After some transfers there is balance/amount which i can´t use, its around 0.003 BTC. It´s exactly the amount which is splited in different amounts in my "change addresses" under "used" and there is everywhere a "1" behind every address with the amount in the "TX" column ( i hope you can understand what I mean, I don't know how to explain it right  Huh ).

After some research in the Web I understood that these addresses have my change from my transactions or something like this...

My question is how can I use these BTC from these addresses?
(And why is the amount shown in my balance when I can't use these BTC?)

Thanks for reading and thanks for any responses  Smiley

You are saying that this amount is from change addresses and used addresses so this means they have a lot of inputs when you want to spend them. I am afraid the fee is bigger than the transaction you are willing to send (0.003 btc). Please put an ! on the amount tab in electrum to see what is the maximum amount you can send.

A picture would help me a lot better to help you out more. Use imgur to upload pictures and let me know but I am sure it's because of the high fees.

Based on your pictures it appears it will let you spend 0.018 btc. The other part are the fees, just add an address to the Pay tab (zahle an) and it should work. Of course if you have setup a password it will not let you send the money without entering the password. If none of this doesn't work the only option you have then is to save your seed in your pc or somewhere safe and update to the latest version of electrum. I am sure it will work then.

Let me know.

Edit: Since the amount minus is roughly 0.003 btc it is definitely the fees.

Thanks again for the answer!

If I calculate correctly I have to pay around 10€ fee if i only want to transfer around 40€?! Is this normal, I mean its 20% of my transaction value  Shocked  The last time I thought it was less...

Edit: I think i got it, I can lower the fee, but then the conformation is not so fast !

from the look of the pic you set the fee dynamic which is 5 blocks confirmation ( not sure since the language is not english ) you can change it to 10 or 25 blocks i think it will lower the fee a little .

That fee is normal when you collect a lot of little payments as I already explained. These results in a lot of spending inputs therefore increasing the size of you transaction. Based on bitcoinfees21 website the cheapest recommended fee is 480 satoshi/byte so yes that is normal when you have a lot of spending inputs.

Next time try to withdraw only big amounts of 0.025 and up in bitcoin and you will be sure you will be pay a cheaper fee.
Glad that I helped.
