Is there any way to know if anyone has mentioned you in an reply or quote?

There's no such feature.  I've tried searching for external method but found nothing also.

Forum is not like social network like facebook or twitter where you can be tagged in post. But I think such feature would be vert useful, but it's impossible to implement it into SMF.

This is not like facebook that notifies you whenever somebody commented or tag you in a topic you have recently replied.
Im waiting for it to have it here.

I think you can see that by click "Show new replies to your posts" above your total time logged in at top. It's not like mentioned your reply/qoute, but at least you know if new post is posted.

I know it's difficult, but it would be awesome if it's added!

It's very difficult because not only you've to go to your posts and check the pages from the links but also you've to check every page in the given thread after your post for the string "Quote from: Qwitty", which would make such a feature not only difficult, but slow too, I think.

If you have email notifications turned on it tell you when you have a personal message that was replied too.
But other than that I do not know if it can tell you if someone has mentioned you.

The only way you can somewhat remotely know if someone mentioned you or quoted is to search the forum either with build in search option or with external search engines.
It will show some results and and can be done but it is not perfect. Also there is new forum software in development - but I doubt it will have this feature.

Yeah, i search that kind of stuff too when  i was just starting in this forum which i keep searching and  i cant find anything about it and  this forum doesnt have that feature. I try to search that too since i would  love to reply  to those user who reply to my previous post so that i would  know what would  be their  opinions regarding with my reply.
