Well I'm going to create a new RX 480 mining rig and have already bought 3 of RX 480 with 750 Watts PSU, but now totally finished with my budget. I've to stick to an old motherboard/CPU, and I've got the following choices:

-Dell T3400
-HP XW4600
-Asus P5NSLI

All of these have 2 PCI-e x16 slots, as I've got a single USB riser and I'm going to put 2 of the cards on the motherboard directly and 1 of the cards through the USB riser. All of these are Core2Duo and with socket 775, DDR2 RAM, etc.

Which one should I choose? Is someone around here using any of the above ones? All of these are pretty too much old.

Guys, any suggestions? I'm thinking on increasing the budget by a bit and get the Dell Precision T3500 Dual Core... Any ideas on this one?

Yes it will work as long as its PCIe 2.0.

If its the older PCIe 1.0 some of the newer cards won't work.
